The following is a complete list of M-Tag Registration & Recharge Centers located across Pakistan with further information on how to apply for your M-Tag registration at these designated centers across the provinces. As You might already know, on the direction of the Lahore High Court (LHC), the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) implemented the MTag requirement for traveling on the motorway from 7 December 2021.

Please Note: The motorway is not open to unregistered vehicles.

Unregistered vehicles are no longer allowed on motorways, according to the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP).

Documents required for M-Tag Registration

To make the whole process more convenient for commuters, M-Tag registration only requires your CNIC and car. However, it must be noted that these are only temporary requirements to make the registration process of MTags more convenient and hassle-free.

Previously, CNIC, Car's Registration Book, and Driver's License were required for M-Tag registration, but these requirements have been suspended.

M-Tag Registration Fee

Until 31 December 2021, M-Tag registration is free. However, from 1 January 2022, the registration fee will be Rs. 200. In order to travel on the Motorway M2, you will only need to top up the M-Tag.
